Hello beautiful!

I’m Amy, the photographer behind amy matney photography studio in Port Angeles. I’m honored to create luxury boudoir portraits that help women feel confident, beautiful, and completely at ease in front of the camera.

I was born and raised in Sequim and I’m proud to call Port Angeles home. My family means everything to me. I'm a wife of 30 years, have 2 grown children married to wonderful spouses and have 3 beautiful grand babies who call me Gigi! I bring that same heart and care into every session I photograph.

Like many women, I understand the pressure we can feel to look a certain way before stepping in front of a camera. That’s exactly why I love boudoir photography. It’s not just about creating stunning images, it’s about helping you see yourself in a new light and recognize the beauty, strength, and individuality you already have.

I know how much vulnerability can be part of this experience, which is why I focus on creating a calm, private, and supportive environment. My goal is to build trust so you can relax, feel confident, and enjoy the experience from start to finish.

Through my lens, I get to show women what others already see in them: grace, power, and remarkable beauty. I truly believe every woman deserves to experience that kind of affirmation, and it is an honor to help make that happen.

I offer a complimentary consultation to help you get started, and I also provide a boudoir guide to prepare you for your session. From your first conversation with me to your final images, you’ll be treated with professionalism, care, and intention.
